As much as I love tech, I also love the quiet, focused feeling of sinking into a great book. And the past year was a fabulous one for discovering some new reads! Some, like Yellowface by R.F. Kuang, were recommended by family. Others, like Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson, came through happenstance.

But my new go-to for discovering amazing entertainment is Shepherd. They asked over a thousand writers and readers for their 3 Favourite Reads of 2023 and I’ve already put at least a dozen on my list (the preview of Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver already has me hooked).
